Jerome Mayhew MP has been selected to sit on the British Delegation for the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy to the Council of Europe. Welcoming this news, Jerome Mayhew MP said: "The Council of Europe has an important role to play in promoting democracy and securing human rights in Europe and across the world. I am delighted to be able to have some part to play in working to enhance these aspects of our society and try to make a meaningful difference to supporting others at risk of persecution".
