I’ve written to the CEO of the DVLA to express my concern at accusations that staff in the Department have been put on ‘special leave’ whilst backlogs pile up.
I have constituents in Broadland that have lost jobs, been cut off from friends and family and become enormously distressed due to the extensive delays inflicted on them by the Department in relation to their license applications and renewals.
My constituents deserve to know what action will be taken, and they deserve better from these individuals in the civil service. Click the link below for my letter, in full:
