It was good to have one of my monthly meetings with Trevor Holden, Managing Director of Broadland District Council, last week.
It’s important to me to work closely with the three County and District and Councils that serve residents in my constituency as they are responsible for everything from getting Government cash into peoples pockets right round to supporting Ukrainian refugees arriving in Norfolk.
Amongst the support being provided to ease the cost of living for people our agenda included more devolution for Norfolk; the practicalities surrounding the rollout of voter ID in elections; the Council’s planned move to a carbon zero building and freeze council tax.
