After a busy morning meeting constituents at my regular advice surgery, I visited the Norwich Probation Centre to learn more about the work they do in supporting and rehabilitating offenders. I also met with Lord Timpson this week, Minister of State for Prisons, Probation and Reducing Reoffending.
It was useful to learn about the challenges they face as a service, both locally and nationally. I have already spoken to the ICB about how mental health services can work closer with our local probation services to deliver wrap-around support.
