It was great to meet the team at Breedon Lenwade and visit Lenwade Building Products to learn about their work in producing paving and seeing their specialist permeable paving which reduces the risk of surface water flooding.
Breedon is a leading supplier of aggregates, cement, ready mixed concrete and other specialist construction products. The minerals from their quarries are building the roads of the future - including the A47 dualling.
Particularly interesting to also learn about skills shortages and discuss the need to train up apprentices that can master these trades.
