I am very pleased that Nelson's Journey has been awarded £26,349 as part of the Covid-19 funding for charities in Broadland.
The charity provides vital support for bereaved children and young people in Broadland and across Norfolk. The grant has helped Nelson's Journey to continue providing these services at a time when overall fundraising has been affected (as has been the case for many charities) as a result of the Covid-19 situation during 2020.
Once restrictions are lifted and it is safe to do so, I very much look forward to meeting Simon Wright, Nelson's Journey's Chief Executive, to learn more about the incredible work the charity undertakes.
