It was lovely to visit, and listen to, the residents at The Limes Care Home in Acle.
They raised a number of local issues for me to take away and work on, with everything from the state of the pavement outside their apartments to national problems around TV Licensing.
I was also given a tour of the building to see how the home enables its residents to continue independent living well into retirement while providing the support and care they need.
The residents told me how well the home is managed, and sang nothing but sheer praise for all of the staff who support them, particularly since the onset of the pandemic.
