This afternoon I have written to the Home Office to request a meeting about the potential reopening of Jaguar House in Broadland.
Residents and I have a clear view on this issue. It is not fit for purpose and should not be re-opened.
While local residents and I accepted the explanation that this was a temporary facility opened to cope with the initial stages of the first wave. The worst of the crisis has now passed, the Home Office should utilise better equipped and more connected facilities across the rest of the country.
