This afternoon, my colleague James Wild MP (Member of Parliament for North West Norfolk) led a Westminster Hall debate on the Quality of Care and the Estate at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn.
Although not in Broadland, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital serves a significant number of patients in the constituency and the current state of the building is not suitably sufficient to give patients confidence in the care they are receiving or for the clinicians to go about their work. James Wild MP, Duncan Baker MP, and I continue to work to press the Government to ensure that this is one of the Hospitals which are upgraded as part of the multi-billion pound package announced by the Prime Minister to rebuild a number of hospitals in England and Wales.
