Great to visit the Whitwell And Reepham Railway today as part of #NationalTourismWeek.
Following great support from Broadland District council, with the first easing of restrictions people were pleased to be able to sit down and enjoy a large range of hot and cold drinks and food.
Despite the weather, and with the second phase of lockdown restrictions lifted, guests were allowed back inside and the Railway has seen an increase in customer numbers and takings.
With the Bank Holiday weekend (and better weather!) approaching, there are bikers on Friday night, VW Campervan Club for the whole weekend on the campsite, and 'Steam Sunday', with fried breakfasts and roast lunches. It's good to see a business with so much optimism for the future, and with plans to employ new staff too.
