It was good to meet residents in Badersfield and discuss the inappropriate planning application being made for asylum seekers to be housed at Jaguar House.
I hope that planning permission will not be granted and will be making representations to the Council.
The government recognises that such centres are best placed in urban areas where there is access to community infrastructure.
The Jaguar Building is the opposite: it’s located in a small Village with inadequate community infrastructure or public transport.
