Volunteers' Week takes place every year from 1st to 7th June. Jerome joined Cllr Gilly Foortse (Mayor of Fakenham), David Hunter (Chief Executive, Fakenham Racecourse) and other volunteers today, to help clean up litter in Fakenham.
Volunteers' Week 2021 is a chance to say 'thank you'. Volunteers have played a key part in the pandemic response. During an exceptionally difficult year, people from all walks of life, all around the UK, have taken the time to volunteer and make a huge difference to their communities. This 37th annual Volunteers' Week takes place during the #MonthOfCommunity - which brings organisations together with a range of events to encourage us all to think about and join in with activities happening in our local communities.
