Today Jerome spoke as part of a Westminster Hall debate on child poverty and child hunger.
He paid tribute to the support the government has provided for low-income families during the Covid crisis, and to the continuing work to increase the National Living Wage to £10.50 per hour by 2024 - thus raising the income of many families to 2/3rd of median household income.
