A new British Library Business & IP Centre (BIPC) has opened in Wroxham Library.
The Business & IP Centre Local is delivered in partnership between the British Library and Norfolk County Council’s Library & Information Service. It forms part of the Business & IP Centre National Network, delivered in libraries across the country, providing business advice and support to local entrepreneurs to start and grow their business. The Network has a strong track record of supporting local economies, and in 2019 an independent economic evaluation showed the BIPC was creating £6.95 of public value for every £1 invested, and in the three years to 2019 supported the creation of 12,288 new businesses.

I am delighted that the British Library and our very own County Council have opened a new Business and IP Centre in Wroxham Library. The service will support our businesses with free or low cost support and resources. Before becoming the local Member of Parliament I spent the last decade helping to build an entrepreneurial business, so I know just how important services like the BIPC can be for entrepreneurs hoping to start and expand their business.
