It was incredibly moving to invite Bethany (a young lady in Broadland) and her family to the House of Commons for tea and to have the chance to thank her for donating 12” of her hair to The Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
Bethany told me of her motivations for donating her hair, and I was hugely inspired by both her maturity and selflessness.
Bethany’s donation will help to empower another young girl going through treatment and support her recovery.
