This morning I received an update from Norfolk County Council on what is being done locally to help those fleeing the tragic war in Ukraine.
The Council have stood up their Housing and People from Abroad Team using tried and tested methods to help those in need.
If you are able to offer accommodation to a Ukrainian refugee please let me know on [email protected] so I can pass on your details to the relevant individuals at the Council.
One of the most effective ways we can all try to alleviate the suffering of Ukrainian refugees is by donating to Disasters Emergency Committee. If you are able to make a financial donation please go to: Disasters Emergency Committee. The Government will also match donations from the public pound-for-pound up to £20 million, meaning your support will go even further.
