Last month, I signed a cross-party letter in relation to the ever-increasing number of Post Offices being closed across communities up and down the country. As I signed it, I was particularly thinking of the situation regarding our Post Office in Fakenham.
Despite new technology, residents in rural communities often have a greater dependency on banks, Post Offices and other vital services. The reduction in these services hurts some of the most vulnerable in our towns and villages.
I will continue to work to support the Mayor of Fakenham, and the wider Councillor team, as they continue the fight for a full and proper service to be restored in our town.
